Itinerary

Day 1: Origin – Meeting Point – Roses

Arrival at the meeting point, pick up, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. The other services will depend on the arrival time.

Day 2: Roses - Figueres - Castelló d’Empúries

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a guided tour at Dali Museum, emblematic museum and world capital of Surrealism. Then, visit of the toy museum, where we will find pieces from the end of the 19th century until today. At the end, lunch at the hotel and, in the afternoon, we will visit the medieval village of Castelló d'Empúries. Finally, dinner at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 3: Roses - L’Escala - Peralada

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Empúries, gateway of Greek and Roman cultures and place through which the Romanization of the Iberian Peninsula begins. We will continue to the fishing village of l'Escala, with a long historical tradition as an anchovy industry. Visit and tasting in one of its anchovy factories. Lunch at the hotel and, in the afternoon, we will go to Peralada to visit its impressive castle, including the wine museum, the crystal museum, the library and the cloister. After the visit, they will offer us a glass of Cava. Dinner and lodging at the hotel.

Day 4: Roses - Cadaqués - Port Lligat - Ciutadella

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the picturesque town of Cadaqués, which has managed to preserve the essence of its charm through steep streets of white houses. We will make a tour until we reach the Church of Santa Maria, dated in the 16th century and place from which we can contemplate a splendid view of the bay. We will continue until we reach Port Lligat, where we will have the opportunity to look at the house where Salvador Dalí lived until 1982. Lunch and, in the afternoon, we will take a walking tour around Roses, including a guided tour of the Ciutadella (fortress), declared Cultural Property of National Interest. At the end, time off until dinner time. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5: Figueres - St. Pere de Rodes - DO Empordà Winery

Breakfast at the hotel. Ascent to the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes "colossus" of Cap de Creus and one of the most important exponents of Catalan Romanesque. From there, we will enjoy one of the best views of the Alt Empordà region. Lunch at the hotel and, in the afternoon, visit of a winery with the Empordà certificate of origin (D.O Empordà). We will enjoy a wine tasting and return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Roses - Figueres - Vilabertran

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Figueres for a guided tour of Sant Ferran Castle, the largest military fortress in Europe. At the end, free time in Figueres’ downtown. Lunch at the hotel and, in the afternoon, we will discover the House of Canons or Monastery of Santa Maria de Vilabertran, where they will show us the uses of the spaces of an Augustinian monastery, quite exceptional due to the degree of conservation of its medieval structures. Finally, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 7: Roses - Sant Llorens de la Muga - La Jonquera

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will finish our Empordà tour visiting a town that has maintained its spirit of medieval past. Surrounded by a beautiful natural environment, we will enjoy while we border its well-preserved walls. On our return, we will stop at the Sanctuary of Salut de Terrades, built in the 16th century. Lunch at the hotel and, in the afternoon, free time for shopping at the Aulet Gran Jonquera, finishing the day having dinner and staying at the hotel.

Day 8: Figueres - Meeting point - Origin

Breakfast at the hotel, departure to the initial meeting point and return to the place of origin.
